Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Caramel, licorice and ash in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with roast, ash and maple syrup. Dried figs. Quite likeable.
Bottled (thanks Kim N!). Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head, leaves slight lace. Aroma is roasted malts, ripe fruits, some plum and raisins along with mild chocolaty notes. Flavour is rather similar in a pleasant balance. Pleasant and nice. Yet another Polish Baltic Porter that doesn’t let you down.
Bottle at Haket cons 2012-01-14 Göteborg AR: roasted malt, chocolate, caramel AP: dark brown, southy beige head F: white sugar, chocolate, coffey, this porter is way to sweet
Croatian November ’11 RB tasting, Ogi’s bottle, found in Berlin. Poured a very dark red body, almost black, tinged with amber. Stable tan head. Sugary oily nose, light alcohol, ehh. Sweet, sugary maltiness, simple stuff, bit roasty, light bitterness, sl. (something). Slightly more complex later, but still, meh, ok.
50 cl bottle from a friend, sampled on October 17, 2010. BB 27/04/11 Black color, small brown head. Alcohol, chocolate, acidic scent. Chocolate, grainy, raissin taste. Almost some salt with the grainy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Some warming alcohol Rather nice and quite drinkable, but there are better Baltic Porters out there too
