Can from Geers. Cloudy black, thin, dark beige head. Aroma of brownie, chocolate sauce, speculoos, burnt gingerbread, beef stock, espresso, fig, brandy. Taste has sweet fig & prune in a dark-chocolatey, pecan-nutty, brownie-like malt body covered by spicy gingerbread & speculoos; bitter coffee note connecting with something earthy-umami. Peppery hoppy finish offers more dark chocolate, spices and boozy bourbon, bit brandy-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation. Technically flawless (as expected of Totem) and quite delicious; but perhaps more interesting to receive this in a bottle for a short spell of cellaring.
Lci & taster. Too alcoholic, bit flat and ba doesn't really come through.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: roasted start, bit sweet impression, alcohol, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, sugary, alcohol, lots of whisky, a bit malty, speculoos cookies ("Biscoff") flavour indeed. Aftertaste: hoppy, resinous, bitter roast, speculoos, bitter, hoppy, malty touch. Where did the vanilla (bourbon) go?
