33cl bottle from Dolma Magasin natural goods store in Brussels. F: big, egg-white, long lasting. C: deep gold, hazy. A: malty, peach, marmalade, floral, orange, mellow tropical fruits, dough touch. T: medium to full malty base, tangerine, passion fruits, peach, marmalade touch, perfumed, nice hoppy resinous, long lasting harmonic bitterness, biscuits, medium carbonation, very good balanced as I expected, enjoyed for sure.
Hazy orange appearance with stable, lasting head. Really complex. Cereal bready base with a touch of earthy hop. Then caramel and caramelised mango. Has a sweetish middle but a really dry finish.
Great... Good old and trusty de la Senne.
4/I/23 - 33cl bottle, shared @ Beerlovers Bar (Antwerpen), BB: 26/IX/23, bottled: 26/IX/22 (2023-28)
Clear gold orange beer, big solid creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very floral, honey, a bit oxidized, caramel, old school American (West Coast?) DIPA, CO2, some banana. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet and malty start, then very bitter, some honey, malty, grains. Aftertaste: more of a gentle bitterness, pretty soapy, very floral, some orange peel.
Draught Fluffy, thick and lacey off-white head over muddy ochre beer. Intesne fruity & grainy aromas, citruspeel, almondhusks, fresh hops, bit perfumey even - nice, as kafir lime. Bitter grains, wholemealbread and bittering hops, with more aromatic hops in the background, again perfumey. Orangepeel and -oil, Bergamot. Feels well-bodied, slick to oily, good carbonation. Keep up the good work, guys!
Bouteille 33cl, BB 26/09/2023, bottled 26/09/2022.
Pours hazy, darker blonde. Medium sized white, stable head. Scent is rich, full fruityness (ripe citrus and orange, magma reminding ) taste is full, mild sweetness, full rich fruityness. Very magma like. Medium body and carbo. Very nice.
