When brewing a collab with one of the most talked about breweries from the States you brew something sexy. Oatmeal Brown Ale is sexy defined. An under brewed style that should please fans of malty dark beers like stouts and porters but also should please those that don't like the harsher roasty notes of those beers. This brown ale is a malt fest that is oozing notes of cold brew coffee, choclate, marshmallow and caramel. With a creamy body from judicious use of flaked oats and a balance that is on the malty side but not too sweet, this is another one for the the cooler months. a belly hug in a glass.

Can 44cl from De Bierkoning @home poured into a shaker. Opaque amberbrown colour with a ruby hue, tall creamy beige head, half-way lasting, patchy lacing. Rich aroma, roasted malt, caramel, cocoa powder, light dark fruits, nutty notes. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted malt, caramel, raisins, chocolate, metallic notes, earthy undertone. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, earthy notes, very nice brew.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Dark brown colour, off-white head. Malty and slightly roasty aroma, hints of caramel and nuts. Moderately roasty flavour, burnt breadcrumbs, hints of caramel and nuts again, not too sweet.
