Can 44cl from De Bierkoning @home poured into a shaker. Opaque amberbrown colour with a ruby hue, tall creamy beige head, half-way lasting, patchy lacing. Rich aroma, roasted malt, caramel, cocoa powder, light dark fruits, nutty notes. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted malt, caramel, raisins, chocolate, metallic notes, earthy undertone. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, earthy notes, very nice brew.

A: hazy brown, thin, tan head.
A: brown bread, mocha, chestnut, iron, toffee.
T: sweet raisin, toffee, brown bread, bitter coffee.
F: earthy hops, toast, nuts, bit metallic.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Somewhat unstable in taste but drinkable.
On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Dark brown colour, off-white head. Malty and slightly roasty aroma, hints of caramel and nuts. Moderately roasty flavour, burnt breadcrumbs, hints of caramel and nuts again, not too sweet.
440ml can. Very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, chocolate. Taste of chocolate, roast malt/coffee, citrusy hops, caramel, pine. Decent.
