3rd LCRBM. Malty, buttery aroma, slightly spiced. Sweet flavor with flowery hops, roasted malt and licorice. Hints of citrus and red berries. Malty. Well done, but not my favorite from this brewery.
Bottle @ Dans house. Cloudy, reddish brown appearance with a cream colored head. Candy sugar, caramel, toffee, sweet aroma. Quite sweet, candy sugar, caramel malty, somewhat cloying, toffee, a touch fruity flavor.
Würziger Antrunk, in dem Malz und Hefe die Aromen zu gleichen Teilen vorhanden sind. Im Mittelteil noch etwas würziger, vor allem hefig-süßer. Nun malziger, dunkler, wenig röstig. Leicht alkoholisch, was aber passt. Dann wieder fruchtig-malzig, Zum Ende malziger, vollmundig, dabei aber immer süßlich. Vielen Dank an DerDoppelbock! 10/10/11/11/12/12
2006 bottle. pours dark brown with reddish hue, off white head. Aroma lots of dark fruits, and candi sugar, caramel malts. Taste, well rounded beer, aged very well, lots of dark fruits goodness, cherries, prunes, candi sugar, and malts. Smooth to the palate, easy to drink, not too boozy.
Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with huge slightly off-white head. Aroma is some yeast, fruits, alcohol and mild spicing. Flavour is fruits, spices, alcohol and yeast. While cold not the most exciting thing, but as it warms up it gets smoother.

Hazy amber to brown body. Aroma of hops, citrus, caramel and some liquor. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not very complex. Ok balance. Quite ok, but not very special.
Slight hazy amber brown color, medium frothy off-white head, loads of particles floating around. Belgian aroma of caramel malt, dried fruit, raisin, bit nutty, some yeast, some coriander, slight hint of alcohol. Alcoholic taste of dried fruit, caramel malt, toffee. Sirupy texture. Bit dry and alcoholic palate.
Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Unclear amber color with a average frothy fair lacing mostly lasting beige head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, sweet, dry fruit, coriander, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Muddy amber, airy head. Almondy caramel aroma. Sweet and softly malty with evident Belgian style yeast character. Near full bodied. Vinous and viscous with cherries, biscuits and some banana. Low bitterness. Complex, powerful and really good!
