Sample (thanks omhper!). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, salty and some maize. Flavour is maize, floral, some salty and about earthy notes. Oh dear.
On tap. Pours clear gold. Floral, fragrant, bit sickly, light sulfur. Medium body. Fine.
Wenig getreidiger, süß hellmalziger Beginn. Kaum Aroma, viel zu schwach hopfig, kein Nachgeschmack. Meh. 9/7/4/5/7/5
330 ml bottle, as Bira 91 Blonde Summer Lager, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken. ABV is 4.5%. Very pale golden colour, small white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and boiled rice, hints of newmown grass. Citric mouthfeel. Dull and "neutral" flavour, way too little hops. Won't buy again.
Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear pale yellow, minimal head. Aroma of corn and boiled vegetables. Sweet with light body and clean, rounded, oily mouthfeel. Cooked corn, butter and ripe fruit. Low bitterness. Poor drinkability. About as pleasant as Delhi summer weather.
Beers of the world level 102 🤣
Really solid. Never had an Indian microbrew before!
Friday 12th Feb 2021. Out Of Date Beer tasting with my son and good lady. Eight beers from 'Lowcostbeer' (they sell old beer at knock down prices). Beer number two; 330ml bottle BBD 23rd Jan 2021, so only a little past it's best. Golden pour, fast fading white head. Mild grainy/malty front to the nose and taste, bog standard Lager. Might be fine on a hot steamy night in New Delhi, but not really on a cold evening in Shropshire.
