Blonde, hazy. Grapefruitaroma, somewhat flowery. Thin bodied. Soft flowery flavor. Past its best before date, so must have lost a bit of hop character. Powder sugar. Citrus. Not bad, a bit past its peak.
Ardennes session ale celebrating hunting and showing a wild boar on the label. Cream white, densely moussy, sticky head over a peach blond, cloudy beer. Light honeyish aroma, yeasty, cheese, wet hay, coriander, dry sherry, pepper and a lemony acidity clearly from infection. Light malty taste, smooth with dried fruitiness, not sweet anywhere, instead the infected sourness takes over and dries the palate, with a medium hop bitterishness in the finish. Not very pleasant, probably better when it was fresh, but like most Bouillon beers I don’t suspect this has ever been truly great.
Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow color with many tiny sized body particles, a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light light heavy yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091021]
