Orange color. Hops, peach and citrus in the aroma. Full bodied. Very citric, even a bit sharp flavor, but also rather hoppy and even a bit oily. Some resemblance to a raw and sweetened version of Orval. Not bad at all, could be more refined. Not a sign of infection.

One of those many ’fake’ Belgian abbey beers, i.e. not linked to an actual abbey. This is a tripel with a sweetish main character, impressions of honey, caramel, apricot, not sugary or cloying, not without complexity either, with a pleasantly hop bitterish finish. A bit cliché but surely enjoyable.

bouteille 33cl. BB date 12/2008. Ambrée, nez de cave venant de l’age, un peu de soja, note de citron. Malt et caramel le tout accompagné d’une légère amertume, une fine aigreur fruitée sur la fin.

Bottled. Hazy orange color, medium frothy head. Aroma is spicy, caramel, some orange. Slight fruity taste, but mostly caramel malt and sweet, slight hop. Ok.

Bottle: Poured a rusty orange with a off white color head. Aroma was fruit with citrus attributes. Taste is rich malt and fruit, dry to the tongue but zesty at the same time.

Bottled. Cloudy golden, lively head. Thenose greets me with pine needles and yeast, which gradually turns towards cranberries. Tart and berryish with rounded mouthfeel. Feels lighter than 7.5% with it’s relatively light body and creamy mouthfeel. Soft and mild with nuttym, chalky notes.

Bottled (with yeast poured in). Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is yeast, fruits and some earth, hides the alcohol very well. Flavour is hops, malts, yeast and fruits. Not the most exciting thing, but quite good.

Golden-amber, with a constellation of little suspended dark particles; very restrained head, fast gone, but leaving lace. Slightly sourish nose, and as well a perfumey, near-USA hoppy nose, quite surprising smell. Sourish taste, but here it is pure off-taste, infected. Medium bodied, acids making it thin. Ouch. Not my idea of a good festival beer, as it is supposed to be.
