Bottled 9/18. Unclear murky amber, little head is gone quickly. Bready aroma with bitter oranges, vanilla/oak. A bit boozy and quite fruity with almost sharp citrus and a twiggy, slightly spiced and oaky end. Not unpleasant but never coalesces into anything.

33cl bottle from Slijterij Saendyck beer store in Zaandijk, Netherlands. F: thin, white, quickly diminishing. C: gold, light hazy with yeasty debris. A: malty, bit mellow fruity, light hoppy, pine, bit caramel. T: full malty base, bit vinous, caramel, bit pine, grapes, almost no carbonations, decent woody tannins, bit vanilla, nothing really memorable and bit messy yet not bad, enjoyed.

Tap @ Borefts. Blonde. Floral, peachy vinous aroma. Malty sweet flavor with white wine, citrus and floral notes, Quite decent,

Pours a clear amber colour with hardly any foam. Aroma's of sour fruit, wood, light booze. Flavour is moderate sweet with light moderate sourness and wood. Warming alcohol. Medium bodied. Long finish with some woody bitterness. Confirms that triple is not the ideal beertype to barrel-age, nevertheless this is still a good beer.

Bottled 12-09-2018. Not sure what to make of this. Tripel'ish for sure, some sharp rye flavors, and lots of wine from the barrel. Weird bitterness in the back that confuses me. Not unpleasant, but a weird mix of flavors that doesn't really work.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of peach, orange, malt, mild vanilla, oak and some caramel. Taste has bittersweet orange, peach, oak, malt, fruity esters, rye, caramel, vanilla and a little warming booze. Sticky mouthfeel. Not bad at all.

Heel raar, sour barley wine combo. Veel te duur voor deze. Vage nasmaak. Kan nooit de bedoeling zijn geweest.
