500ml bottle: BB 21st Jul 2021. Drank at home on 22nd Jan 2021. Bog standard Pilsener, clean, clear and bright golden body, fast fading white crown, slight grainy nose, slight hoppy taste. A nice refreshing beer that isn't going to test your senses but will quench your thirst.

22-09-20 // 330ml bottle from Stumpf. Classic German Pilsner. Golden colored, clear. Pale malts, mild sweetness, milder to meidum bitterness.

Soapy, just a bit hoppy aroma. Sweetish, reasonably hoppy flavor. Bitter, bit soapy finish.

Clear pale golden colour, tall foamy white to off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing. Aroma malty, grain, cooked vegetables, wet hay. Taste light to medium sweet and bitter, malty, light hoppy. Leading to a light bitter aftertaste, quite metallic, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mediocre pilsner, I didn’t like it.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Flaschenfreund', best before September 2018. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy aroma of straw and some grains. Just a bit sweet, moderately bitter, pretty dry, almost watery and slightly grassy-spicy taste of straw and some grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, fairly dry and slightly grassy-spicy finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very clean, very neutral. Pretty misleading name I'd say.

33cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, not really bready like most German lagers, herbal hops. Flavour is light sweet, aluminium, herbal, thin, fizzy, harsh bitterness. Light bodied, fizzy. Maisels unworthy imho.

Bottle on holiday. Clear golden color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste malts, straw, hay, some malt bitter and lightly European hop and hop bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Decent pilsener.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a rather small white head. Malty aroma and some grassy hops presence. Taste starts sweet, complemented by grassy hops and mild bitterness. Nothing special. Decent.
