Overwhelming aroma of banana's, lemon and grape sugar. Yeasty taste with banana, raisins and herbs. Yeasty, bitter aftertaste. Wonderful aroma, but the taste is a turnoff.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Hazy murky orange to light amber color, no head. Aroma is quite horrible for a beer, because it smells like a fruitmix. Not too bad in general but horrible as beer. Taste almost the same: banana and fruitmix. Don’t like it in my beer but I expected far worse.

Bottle. Pours orange with white head. Lots of sediment. Nose of farmhouse, basement aromas and tons of banana. Taste is like a banana farmhouse ale. Some raisin. Very funky.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Hazy amber colour with mediumsized off-white fluffy/foamy head. Aroma is ginger, banana and some yeasty notes. Flavour is banana, some caramel malts, toffee and spicy notes as well. Mild fruity hops in the finish. Bigtime bananish gingery aftertaste. For being 7 % this is quite nice, as alcohol is wellhidden.

courtesy of Justin Ever since drinking the Dju Dju Banana beer, I have kept a bad memory of the banana themed beer. Aroma is filled with banana and sultana (dried seedless grape). The aftertaste leaves the lingering banana mouthfeel. Drink this one cold, because as it warms up the flavor reminded me a lot of spoiled babyfood (to just stay PC). Overall, the beer is sweet / fruity, a change from the usual dark fruits or citrus, but the end result is just poor.

Draft, Arendsnest. Slightly hazy golden color, short white head. Aroma of banana, bit spicy. Bit bitter and fruity taste, dry. It is not as extremely sweet as most banana beers, so it is actually drinkable.
