750 ml bottle at share, courtesy of Rich. Rose, ruby colored pour, light wispy head. Raspberries dominate the aroma and taste, requisite sour palate, fruity, light wine notes.
Small but persistent rim over brownish hued red-purple beer. Intense fruit nose, raspberry and winegrape, old wine barriques. Quite sour, fruitacids, lactic, but with a finish that is pure raspberry. Intensely fruity, faint wood. Light acidburn, light body, not very carbonated. Very nice, pleasing fruitbeer.
29/XI/19 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival 2019, BB: n/a - (2019-1917) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Aroma: very fruity, lots of raspberry jam, little funky, hint of nail polish. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity start, lots of raspberries, dry, nice acidity, some lemon juice.
Wild festival. Clear bright red. Thin white ring. Raspberries, nettly herbal, wine. Moderate sweet and bitter, mild to quite sour. Medium body, low carbonation.
Bottle, bottled 26-09-2018. Color: Murky reddish purple, fast disappearring thin pink head. Aroma: Very fruity. Tart raspberry, some tart red grape, funky hints. Taste: Moderate to above moderate tart raspberry and blackcurrant are winning the game from the red grapes. A lot of tannins. Oak wood. Moderate bitterness, light sweetness. Funky hints. Dry mouthfeel. Medium to just under medium body, sparkling mouthfeel, just below average carbonation. Well balanced. Nice, but not one of the best Tommie Sjefs in my opinion.
