Bottle. Black. Caramel, rum in the soft herbal aroma. Malty sweet flavor, full bodied. Caramel, rum, soft herbal notes, vanilla. Thick, quite drinkable, lovely!

Bouteille 330ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée onctueuse laissant une superbe dentelle. Arôme de rhum, boisé, pointe de fudge, petits fruits foncés. Arôme de rhum, malt torréfié, légère acidité, boisé, pointe sucrée, chocolat noir en fin de bouche, alcool parfaitement camouflé. Carbonatation faible, corps dense.

Rum versie is iets scherper. Rum voegt wel wat toe, maar toch met name veel booze. Had wat subtieler/gebalanceerder gemogen van mij

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (1st day) shared with BE RB crew and other gentle people there. F: big, tanned, long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: rich dark malty, chocolate, cocoa, bit vinous, rum touch, coffee, bit herbal, spicy. T: rich malty backbone, chocolate, cocoa, bit warming alcohol, dark dried fruits, red wine, mellow fruity, I miss some woody feeling here, full body and lower carbonation, not bad at all yet I expected more complexity here.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19. Noir, col moka, huileux doré au verre. Arôme offre un bouquet marqué par un malt épais, grillé, petite pointe de sucre candi, léger chocolat avec une fraicheur de barrique de rhum assez noble dont un petit effet sucre canne. Palais malté, alcool bien marqué, petite touche épicée, léger sucre résiduel qui se mêle bien à la barrique, le tout sur une petite douceur de fin de bouche.

Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty oxidized, some dried fruits, sherry, madeira, malty, caramel, overripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, ripe banana, bitter, roasted touch. Aftertaste: malty, chocolate, roasted, coffee, bit hoppy, coca powder.
