This one was leaking bad in my luggage, bottle cap probably not properly sealed. Therefore no surprise that it poured totally flat, darker shade of orange. As "North Korean" beer imitation, I would have expected something light yellow, spritzy and watery, so beer in my glass is quite different from what I thought it would be. Nose is malty, some dried berries, herbal thing going on. Taste is lightly bitter, naturally would benefit from better carbonation but I guess its just my bottle. Then average bitterness, malty and herbal-yeasty, light ginger burn. Not a bad beer but also not really anything I would associate with that country (besides design).
50cl bottle from Pothouse, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy golden with a fairly modest, white head. Grainy and somewhat fruity with slightly citrusy berry notes, grass and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet with fairly mild flavours and a rather pleasant bitterness. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable.
Bottle (thanks marduk). Pours yellow. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grainy, malty, cardboard. Finish has some hoppy dryness. Carbonation is high. Overall: drinkable.
