Bottle. deep ruby red with a hint chill haze, low offwhite head. Honeyish sweet aroma, berries, resin, caramel roast. Medium full body, salt caramel base, strawberries, melanoidin, peat, pine/resin notes, flowery finish.

Spruce, caramel malt, and raspberry aroma. Dark chestnut brown with giant tan head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, and mildly bitter spruce and hay flavor. Good body. Smooth - hides its strength well.

33cl bottle. A dark orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark red fruits, caramel, spices. Taste of dried fruits, dark reddish malt, caramel, spices.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. A deep ruby shade to a near-black body. Earthy malts and dried fruits on the nose. Well blended taste of apricot, prunes and caramel malts, slightly spiced. Jam-like ending. Well bodied and quite harmonious in the mouth. Fits the winter season. (Tromsø 16.02.2019).

Draught @ Malt & Mold (11/21/18). Murky reddish brown with small frothy beige head, sweet caramel aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter spicy caramel taste with boozy flavor and spices, thin body, long boozy finish. Feels to have a higher ABV than it actually has.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Dyp amber. Lavt skum med litt farge. Blir for film langs glasset. Aroma av krydder & frukt. Smaken lett ingefær & et varmende krydder.

Clear brown, small offwhite head. Herbal aroma, spruce. Sweetish flavour, herbal, spicy. Lasting spice. Not really my thing.
