Quite different. Bit weird. Hot somehow. Hoppy too. Bread aftertaste.
Bottle (thanks jinroh). Pours amber. Aroma is grainy, malty, bit of molass. Flavor is sweet and bitter, vrains, malt, some dryness. Overall: drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Märzen Aging Ⅲ (2017) on 25 Jan 2018 at 19:21
Bottle from the brewery, mail order. Pours a bit cloudy amber, quite brownish orange. Bit of off-white foam on top but not very fluffy. Nose has caramel, feels green and fresh, some sweetish base malts. Decent enough. Taste feels also fresh, sweetish caramel character balanced with some light bitterness, short finish and light bitter herbal linger. Good one actually, simple but decently flavourful märzen.
Bottle from the brewery. Nutty, malty nose, cocoa and caramel. Orange-brown, clear. Sweet, simple flavor, cocoa and nuts. Nice enough, but simpleand green. Looking forward to the others.
