Originally brewed at Seabright Brewery in the very early days of our inception, Bright Sea Blonde is a barrel-aged, Belgian-style Blonde Ale with lemon zest and grains of paradise. Fermented initially in stainless steel with a yeast strain known for clean features and mellow phenolics, months of barrel aging with our house culture develops Bright Sea Blonde into a crisp ale containing ripe notes of funk, bright citrus, and late-season melon. We encourage you to share Bright Sea Blonde with close friends and friends you’d like to bring closer.

Bottle sampled at The Sweetest tasting II. Slight hazy bright golden with almost no head. Funk, light wine, citrus, canned peach, sour grains, soft bread, light spicy yeast, gooseberries, a touch of yoghurt and matches. Under medium sour, even lighter sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. Very balanced and delicate. I really like it.
