Sampled at Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017 - day 1. Dark brown pour with no head. Notes of honey, hcocolate, dark fruit, berries, oxidized blackberries and just a hint of cocoa in the background. Quite nice, especially the smell.
Sampled at Billies Craftbeerfest 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Don't mind the visual info to much, as lighting was really bad. Pours dark brown, rather clear. Smell is intense, dark honey, tad sweet. Taste is full, sweet, fruity, dark honey. No real chocolatyness. Tad dry. OK 7.3/10 - Rated 13-12-2017
Re-rate from bottle 3-11-2020. pours nearly black. Smell is spiced, i get the natural cocoa, but it also comes across close to peppers, somehow. Taste is full, intense, still get the pepper-like thing by the natural cocoa. this is what I must have ment with the 'dark honey' mentioned above. Not what I expected, as I thought my OG score might have been lower due to sampling on a festival, but the cocoa really doesnt work the way I hoped it would. would give it 7.5 at this occasion, so setting the score to an AVG of 7.4
