7 3 7 3 15 Bottle shared. Hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma of rich malt, caramel, dark bread and grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Thanks Vran! Off white head. Clear coppery amber body. Sticky malty aroma, orange. Sticky malty taste, tangerine, medium bitterness. Old unfortunately...
Draft glass @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Dark amber orange, HUGE tanned head. Nose is weird grainy orange peel, dark bred, weird bitter bread, fruits. Taste is weird strawberry hop, bread grainy & bitter, sweetish strawberry, overly thick, approaching boozy, weird heavy bready pine. Strange, not too drinkable, not really my thing.
Pours darker amber, ok white head. Smell is rich, thick malts , intense hops, some biscuit maltyness. Taste is sweet, bit candy like fruit touches, intense hops , grassy and green, fruity. Very rich malty base, biscuits and caramel. Very intense. Very decent mf and carbo. Like this one !
Hazy coppery color with a white head, good retention and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of resin hops, orange peel and some caramel. Flavro with a strong bitterness, light caramel, some peachy and orange peel hints. Decent bitterness on palate with good maltiness.
At the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Light hazy orange color with off white. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, bread, citrusy fruity, tropical fruits, pine. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
On tap. @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo 26/02/2016 Color ámbar, sabor frutal, caramelo, final amargo. cuerpo alto.
750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a fairly recent release. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, biscuit, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, biscuit, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of of pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is is great. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice DIPA style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to sip on for the big ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
