Sampled from tap at Brouwersfestival Utrecht 2016. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, spicy aroma of coriander, caramel and honey. Sweetish, spicy taste of caramel, honey and lots of coriander, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Okay, very spicy though.
33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear orange amber with a white head. malty caramel aroma with some yeast. Taste is on the sweet side. Nice deep flavours. Unremarkable but solid brew.
Bottle from Het Biermoment, BB 03/2016, large sample, served in an Oersoep tulip glass. Almost clear amber color, big rocky slight off-white head, bit large bubbles. Aroma is slight spicy, bit coriander like veggies, green apple, some caramel malt, slight citrus, bit grassy. Soft bitter taste, bit sweet. Again some green apples. Slight tart in the finish. Mediocre stuff.
Sample from tap @ UBF ’14. Clear amber color. Off white head. Aroma’s: red fruit, caramel. Flavor is actually almost neutral, slight caramel sweetness. Medium bodied. Lots of fruit in the finish, but no bitterness. A bit bland.
@UBF14, aroma van caramel, moutig, zoet. smaken zijn daarentegen best redelijk, vrij hoog in co2 tijdens het nemen van een slokje, caramel, hopbittertje, zacht/glad goede smaak en niet te extreem. overigens wel een vreemde kruiden, maar t is ’te drinken --- Beer merged from original tick of Nijenrode on 23 May 2018 at 14:21 - Score: 6
Bottle @ home. Clear dark orange to amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell malts, sweetness, some alcohol, herbs. Taste malts, some sourness which I don’t think is intended, herbal bitterness. Average body, fizzy carbonation. Don’t like it.
