Bottle [from trade with RW80] shared with a friend at home. Deep dark red brown color, average to medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, some whisky. Taste malts, more whisky in the flavor, a slight distant hint of smoke, sweetish, but also a slight wood-tart bitterness. I tend to find this unbalanced. Doesn't taste bad but it is kind of all over the place. 6-4-6-3-13.

Volgende poging, dit maar de Macduff Whisky, schenkt donkerbruin met lichte kraag, beperkte lacing, aroma van caramel, mout, graan, lijm, alcohol en wat rozijnen, smaken zijn alcoholisch, donker fruit, rozijn, bruine suiker, mout, graan, scherp, wederom veel té dun, maar ja als het basisbier al te slap is gaat een BA poging niet helpen, wat zacht, lijmachtig en whisky, wederom matig.
