Can at TZT. Black with no head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, hazlenut aroma. Moderate sweet and bitter, some sour woody touch. Muted down toffee. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and lots of carbonation. No chili. Disappointing stuff.

16oz can from Tavour. A little bit of a gush at the opening, but I was able to catch it in my snifter. Inky black pour with a thick beige head, which subsides down to just a small ring and a few collars of lacing. As you can see by the beer name, there's an awful lot of things going on here. And each one of them is detectable in both the aroma and the taste. Quite a feat, well-crafted beer. A little bit sweet, a little bit roasty, a little bit spicy and a little bit nutty. No warmth whatsoever, slick and smooth and creamy.

At CBFZ 2018. Pours black with an off-white head. Aroma is burnt malts, liquorice, dark chocolate. Body is heavy and strong, quite hoppy, chili but not too much. Lots of pastry, but it's not coming together. Still a good strong IS.

Draught Head gone; reddish highlights on near-black beer. Hazelnuts, vanilla, roasted malts, smelling very sweet. Hazelnut icecream. Vanilla, again, hazelnuts, hazelnut chocopaste, but with a burning chili finish. Serious capsicineburn, medium bodied, good carbonation. What were they thinking?
