375 ml. bottle shared with Kraddel during the (Ice) Cider/Perry tasting @ Barely Legal Tasting Room. 2009 Vintage. Only Vintage. Obtained in a trade with fonefan. Sampled. Clear golden. Nose is very light, almost not there, only some vague sweet pear. Taste is sweet pear syrup, long warming finish, syrupy, lightly boozy, very long aftertaste lingering into herbal & herbal liqueur territory, very unexpected. Substantial thick body. Very different from what I expected. Absolutely awesome all the same. /////// Tried it again, this is really, really good, lots of complexity.
Bottle thnx to Ships Pours clear , slightly yellow . No real smell . Taste is thick, sweet, dusty, pear , kinda... earthy/herbal/spicy . Aftertaste is long, green . As Eugene states, reminds of herbal liquor . Interesting stuff .
