Bottle from Safeway in Bend. Dark amber pour with small, soapy head. Fruity, floral aroma, candy, soap. Taste switches gears and brings the malts to the front, slightly dry and earthy. Dryness and bitterness lingers on the palate.
Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. A bit hazy orange color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, quite sweet hops, ripe and overripe tropical fruits. So sweet from the fruitiness there’s only a slight bitter finish detectable in the end. Still not bad though, but perhaps a little over the top sweetness.
Gbbf. Klares orange goldenes Bier. Geruch nach orange, Aprikosen, mild hopfig bitter. Geschmack zitronig hopfig, dezent bitter, Orangen und Aprikosen.
Draft - Sweet caramel, tangerine and some tropical fruit. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lots of orange and caramel with some pithy bitterness.
