Horse blanket, guava, orange, malt, and straw aroma. Hazy pale yellow with large white head. Lightly sweet guava and malt, moderately sour Brett/citric acid, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Nice body and balance.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours thick, murky and chunky pinkish orange with a head that dissipates almost instantly. Strong sulphur aromas with acidic vinegar, guava, toffee and orange blossom. Strong acidity on the palate with a sharp tart flavor. Bright citrus, pink guava flesh and a pithy tart-bitter lingering note with a touch of the sulphur coming back. Insanely acidic and not much balance. Not bad, but not as good as the old funk series.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, green apple, white wine, gooseberry, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and white bread dough; with light notes of honey, pepper, lacto/leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, pink guava, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, green apple, white wine, gooseberry, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and white bread dough; with light notes of honey, pepper, lacto/leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light fruit tang, herbal/grassy bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, green apple, white wine, gooseberry, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, light lacto/leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, pink guava, and moderate pale/wheat flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp/acidic, and lightly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited sour! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, pink guava, and moderate pale/wheat flavors; very smooth and pretty crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish, not overly lactic. Outstanding balance of pink guava and Brett/Lacto complexity; great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity, with mild lingering sweetness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
