[ As Voodoo Chocolate Covered Cherry Big Black Voodoo Daddy (Bourbon Barrels) ].Muddy medium brown creamy colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, dark malt, alcohol, bourbon, cherries. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, cherry - wood. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170511] 8-2-9-4-17

From tap at Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen. Dark brown to black color with small beige head. Malty aroma, roasted, fruity, dark dried fruits, chocolate, caramel, soy sauce notes. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2017, Red Session. Fast schwarze Farbe. Geruch nach Whisky, Karamell, Vanille, Kaffee. Geschmack ist süß schokoladig malzig, holzig, wenig Kirschen, holzig, Whisky.

Tap at MBCC 2017, Red session. Poured a hazy dark brown with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, coffee, cherry notes. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich oily roast, liqourice, chocolate, vanilla, tart cherry. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Dark, murky brown pour with no head. Notes of chocolate, cherries, light vanilla, lightly boozy, some fruit. No barrel notes apparent.
