Many thanks to fonefan for the treat, big bottle, shared with Skinnyviking at Himmeriket. hazy dark golden body, low white head, scattered lacing. Aroma of citrus peels and dark spiced. Blended taste of mid-tart yeasty fruits, dark spices and wood. Lingering tartness to the finish. Rounded palate. Refreshing (Copenhagen 10.05.2017).

Can’t remember when or how I got this one but it came in a trade.

A - A slightly hazy yellow but that’s probably just the drive over.

S - Smells fantastic, pepper is not present at all. Wine barrel is present, lemon-bread, herbs.

T - Yeah, it’s overly sour. I’m glad it’s not on here as a saison. It’s quite sour. Lemon, gingerbread, lime, bread, lemons and melons. white wine, and a huge wine barrel tannin almost chalky puckering finish

M - thin, not a lot of carbonation in this one

O - This is good. Looking at my regular Joey Pepper rate, meh, this is way better.
