Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Clear, very dark red with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, prunes and peach. Very sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of molasses, caramel, raisins and peach, followed by a long, moderately bitter, quite boozy finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice but quite heavy!

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 1. Brownish color, no head. I don't get much aroma. Taste malts, a hint of chocolate, a bit sourish, wood. Hmm ok beer, but not really my kind of beer.

23/IX/17 - on tap @ Borefts Bierfestival 2017 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2017-1709) Thanks to ratebeerians and friends for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of bourbon, alcohol, pretty heavy, nice roast, sweet, vanilla. MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: wow, lots of chillies? Or is that just the alcohol burning? Really stings the throat. Sweet, alcohol, lots of bourbon, vanilla, more alcohol, bit sourish. Aftertaste: very roasted, alcohol, bit oxidized, more alcohol, a little too bitter, lots of chocolate.
