Cotteridge gathering 23rd June 2018; shared bottle. Dirty brown body, beige affair on top. Lots of liquorice in the nose and taste, light herbal twist in there somewhere. Different and interesting, a little too sweet for some.
Bottle shared at Cotteridge. So a black saison is a thing. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma slight herby and aniseed. Taste roastedmalty bitter to light sweet. Medium yeasty baody. Yeah, so i like mu saison black.
Shared at the Cotteridge Convention, 2018. Poured a hazy medium brown with a broken off white head. The aroma is malt, liqouirce fruit. The flavour is light bitter with a light soft woody light fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As Mystic / Stillwater Fistbump the Void ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, moderate to heavy yeasty, saison yeast, moderate to heavy licorice - salty licorice, star anis, Konge af Danmark bolcher - fennel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, saison yeast, salty licorice, dark malt, fennel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
