Cask @ Guildford Arms, 1 West Register Street, Edinburgh, Scotland EH2 2AA. [ As Sonnet 43 Gather Round Beer ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, smoke notes, meat notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, roasted, meat notes, smoke notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160318]
