Bottled. Dark brown with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, sugar and some slight rye to it. Flavour is liquorice, sugary, some rye and mild toffeeish tones.
Bottle. Color: Almost black, reddish brown head. Taste: Roasted malts, bittery, earthy, notes of licorice. Pretty flat taste, missing some complexity. Medium carbonation and body. Short lasting finish.
Bottle. Dark brown , low head. Licorice roast, caramel, herbal hops. Medium body, dry mouthfeel. Meh.
50cl bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Pours dark red brown with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and licourice. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, licource, caramel.

[ As Frejdahl Valravn ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt extract, burnt malt - sugar, roasted - grainy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, malt extract. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150528]
Very dark brown, unstable light tan head. Aroma has light milk chocolate and hints of dark syrup. Mouthfeel is surpisingly light, rather watery actually. Flavour has light roast, some chocolate. Pretty disappointing considering the pretentious label and description.
