The Fruity Watergeus is a sparkling fruit beer of one year old lambic, which is ripened for another year with cherry and blackberries. With to this maceration, combined with a slow second fermentation, beautiful and soft fruit flavors are released. After a third fermentation and bottling, the unique flavor of Fruity Watergeus might remind of the taste of wine.

Pours a deep, dark, unclear redpurple. Medium to big sized, relatively stable to very stable, white head. Scent is oaky, funk, milder cherry. Fruity, but balanced. Taste is very full, astrigent, tart, but very right in it's balance. Fruityness is present, mostly cherry's, with a complex-bringing backbone of cassis. Low carbonation (just right !) and medium body. The only complaint is the lack of aftertaste. A mild fruityness remains, but nearly no acidity.

Bottle shared with Erik. Clear, burgundy red with almost no head. Funky barnyard, cassis leaves, not so prominent cherry. Some light vinegar. Well balanced and nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy bordeaux red, off-white head. Aroma: Pretty strong farmyard and bit leathery funk, fruity. Taste: Pretty strong Brett funk, farm barn, horse blanket, light leather hints combined with fruity cherries and cassis. Moderate tart, sweet and bitter. Oak wood. Dry mouthfeel, very dry and astringent at abrupt ending finish. Nice.

Corked bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Red color, cloudy. Red fruit in the slightly milky aroma. A yeasty, soft bretty milky lambic with loads of red fruit in the flavor. Low on carbon. At the very least a quite interesting beer, not without complexity. I like it!

Clear dark ruby red beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, funky, rural impression, lots of wild yeast, wood notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, some red berries, pretty dry, lemon juice, citric acidity, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: dry, acidic, quite some tannins, grapefruit, grape skin, some vinegar, pretty bitter touch.
