Tap @ Cafe Morshuis Albergen. Dark brown color. Malty, bready roasty caramel aroma. Soft floral notes. Full bodied. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with soft roast. Bready. Milk chocolate. Nice.
Bottle. Color: Ruby, beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, dark fruit, hop. Taste: Same caramel and dark, lightly roasted malt as the original, tasting side by side this special edition seems to have some more dark dried fruit, more body, bit more spicy, a little bit sweeter and a little bit hoppier. Medium sweet and bitter. Light citrus fruity hints. Pretty long lasting bittersweet finish. Pretty nice.

Dark ruby dark brown, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, sweet. Taste is the same, more bitter than the original. But not much difference.
Dark brown colour, beige foam, stays a long time. Lots of banana, plums, dried fruit, quiet sweet, malty. Well balanced.

20/XI/18 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Syntra Asse, BB: II/2021 - (2018-1719)
Clear chestnut brown beer, small creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of caramel, sweet malts, sugary impression, ripe banana, bit yeasty, not getting much of that hop… MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, grains, pretty bitter (surprisingly), ripe banana and banana peel. Aftertaste: alcohol, malty, caramel, banana, slightly sourish pretty dry, soft bitterness, sweet touch, some yeast.
75 cl. bottle @ home, shared with Rick, Alex and Suus, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Dark brown with a beige head. Caramel and roasted malts, with some faint hops. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Quite high in carbonation but a nice dubbel overall. Don't quite get the emphasis on the "new unnamed hop" used as a dubbel normally isn't a hop forward beer at all and this one is no exception.
