Draft at the Handlebar. A bit of a different take from their usual output. Dark brown with a ring of fine beige head. Aroma leadscwith thevtart, flavor fills in with some roast and bourbon. Pretty nice.

Sample @ Broken Top. Pours hazy dark brown with a small brown head. Aromas of bourbon, sweet toffee, malt, vinegar, berries. Taste has booze, malt, vinegar, cherries, light roast, lactic acidity.

This is one of the beers that made me love heavy sours. Glad to see it still holds up so well. Heavy sour. Wine, bourbon, spices. Very complex, a bit fruity and super heavy. A total monster of a beer, and so damn good.
