Sampled from 0.75 l bottle, bottled in July 2015. Hazy, dark amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, a bit funky and moderately spicy aroma of pumpkin, lemon, rhubarb and some vinegar. Slightly sweetish, moderately sour, a bit funky and moderately spicy taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, rhubarb, lemon and some vinegar, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, woody-dry, slightly funky and slightly spicy finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle from Rudat. Smooth mild pumpkin with sourish hints. Refreshing but not too deep. Round and spicy, refreshing with mild herbal hints in the aftertaste. Sourish refreshing. Interesting.

Tap at Churchkey into a snifter showing well filtered dark honey with no head The nose shows a mix of kumquat, honey, and a tart acetic edge. Comes together quite strangely, but I’m guessing it’s the pumpkin. The palate is highly carbonated and light bodied. Lightly tart with flavors of moderately intense orange tea and light malts that mix quite well together. Light oak in the background. Not bad for a pumpkin sour actually.
