Bottle thanks to Walt shared at RBWG 2012. Pours a cloudy orange with a small off white head. The aroma is a strong sour cherry and tart. Thin mouthfeel with a sour cherry flavor and tart with crisp finish. Very easy to drink and refreshing. Wow really enjoyed this one.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ The Pool Tabel Tasting in Rome ]. [ As my rating # 19999 on ratebeer ]. Open with a big ( and i mean BIG) bang when we removed the capsule and a automatic cork did fly to the sky ;O) .. Unclear medium orange color with a huge, frothy - light open, good lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy, barnyard, leather, tart berries - cranberries. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, woody, leather, fruity, dry dry. Big Thx to MesandSim for this lovely beer >;O)) Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20101220]

I had this at Spuyten Duyvil a few years ago, even took but never entered it. Well, I did not let that opportunity pass when EDA opened a bottle at the RBSG’09 Grand Tasting. Well, Mike popped the cap and started looking for cork screw... and he did not need it. The cork just started to inch out slowly, how awesome. Obviously a thick head that does fade to a nice thick lacing. The color is a thick, murky, muddy straw/golden, cannot see through it. So as usual its all Cantillon, except aged in this case. That crazy lemon Cantillon brett is there and behind it the aged, heavier maltiness and hay. Still some vinegar in play as well. Still plenty of pucker in this baby as well. Awesome stuff, no cranberries of course.
