Another NEDIPA from this - especially in that field - respect craft brewery in Virginia, can shared with Steve. Papery lacing, frothy, egg-white, stable mousy head on a cloudy peach blonde beer with pale orangey tinge. Aroma of tangerine, ripe mango flesh, moist marijuana, pitaya, passionfruit, wet dough, guava, blood orange juice, olive oil, diesel, sweet cicely. Fruity, sweetish onset, lots of aromatic-hoppy mango, guava and kumquat impressions, medium carb but still (refinedly) stinging, full doughy malt sweetishness soaked in hoppy colours of orange cake, stewed shallot, granadilla and papaja but also dank marijuana, until a lightly peppery and bittering effect appears, partially from the hops but also coming from a gin-like alcohol kick, which nevertheless remains muted by the sheer sultriness, dankness and generosity of the hops. This is a lush, vibrant, powerful NEIPA indeed - this brewery being outside of actual New England yet managing to make a name for themselves as NEIPA specialists, comparable with Other Half in New York or even Cloudwater in England, seems fully deserved here. Convincing even for those who remain critical about the haze craze (including myself).
