One of Millevertus’s spelt beers, with thin, off-white, sticky head and orange blonde colour, cloudy. Relatively complex aroma of unripe peach, celery, parsley, tomato, pineapple, sourish grains; soft fruity taste with bready yeastiness, caramel malts, rather low carbonation, spicy notes, yeasty finish with light hop bitterness.

11/X/2012 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Erwin's place - BB: no markings on the side to indicate month and year, where it should be... (2012-1128) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Note: contrarily to what I was thinking, the word "green" is no allusion towards green hopping, but it refers to the malts being grown biologically. Ok then.
Clear light blond beer, big aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: citrus, grapefruit, some pineapple, little bit soapy. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: bit soapy, citrus, little bit of grapefruit, citrus, peel, a bit "off". Aftertaste: somewhat malty, bit sweet, citrus, bit floral, hoppy, pretty fruity. Seriously, this is not bad. Good session beer!

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy, murky yellow / orange color, virtually no head, just a small white lacing. Smell lightly malts, light hint of hops, but mainly herbs and spices. Taste malts, a lot of herbs and spices. Low carbo, low body.

Bottle thx to benzai. Very hazy yellow to slightly orange colour with a decent sized white, cloudy head. Smells yeast, mostly peppermint and other herbs/spices, sharp, nasty cheese/fungae. Tastes sweet, some banana, also cheese, fungae, musty, spices/herbs, dusty. Not my beer. Okay carbo, medium body. It’s like a gueuze that isn’t sour.

bouteille 33cl.

Bottle: Poured a murky brown with a hint of orange, head was thick and off white. Aroma is fruit, orange peel, and sweet malts. Taste is sweet caramel with a hint of fruit, not over the top, but mellow in the finish.

Medium yellow-tinted head, fed by lively carbonated yellow beer with a green shine. Vegetable nose, with hops and artichoke, cucumber, olive aromas, to a strange mix. Faint citrussy finish. Arachide, fatty acids, stale hops, more cucumber & lemon. Very spritzy, rather light body; creamy texture by the tenacious head. Very green indeed - on many levels.
