Huge, dense, yellowish head over (cold)hazy orange beer. Sharp nose, with something like acetone, but also muscat grapes. Later fresh hops, even USA (or NZL!)-like. Quite IPA-like smell. Sweetish base with an outspoken hopbitter overlay. Orangecake/ toast with orange marmalade, orangeblossom tea, sparsely sugared. BIt burning in the finish. Astringency, medium bodied. In the aftertaste, warming up, I detect white candi sugar (even if that’s impossible...). Quite good, bravely hopped for a Belgian ale. Big thanks to WIlliam Roelens!
