Cask. Amber colour with a minor head. Aroma is mild maltyness, some mild floral and nectary notes as well. Flavour is rather similar, but has a more grassy bitterness to it. Refreshing, but otherwise quite boring.
Cask (handpump) @ Babington Arms, 11-13 Babington Lane, Derby, Derbyshire England DE1 1TA.Clear medium orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light toffee, moderate hoppy, citrus notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100117]
Golden amber ... thin white bubbly head ... soft light lemon hop nose ... zezty lemon peel ... bright sweet grapefruit ... quite hoppy ...and almost lagery .... but not enough to ruin it ... again im quite liking it.
Gravity at Reading Beer Festival 2 May 08. Bright golden colored. No head. Modest fruity aroma. Some hints of fruit in the flavor but quite anonymous. Dry aftertaste.
Lacing-head over a bit clouded, golden body. Malt-fruity aroma. Rather tangy hops up front with hints of grapefruits and peaches. Soft bitter ending (gravicask sampled with Finn at Reading Beer Festival, 02.05.2008).
