Flaske 0,5l fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Batch 3232. Drukket hjemme 21 Apr 14. Dyp brun. OK luftig skum som varer litt. Lav teppelacing. Aroma av frukt & bĂŚr. Smaken har samme preg. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert. KI=4.

500ml bottle, L3232, bought at EuroSpar Tomasjord. Shared with Richard. Amber coloured body with a shade of brown, clear. Slowly diminishing beige head. Earthy malty nose with a touch of floral hops. Taste of herbal spicy hops, thistle and ginger, joined by mid-sweet malts. Fruit bitter twist to the ending. Medium to thin bodied. A bit different and quite nice to drink (Easter gathering at our place, Tromsø 18.04.2014).

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear brown-ish beer with a medium sized big-bubbly light beige top. Smells of bitter and sweet caramel, nougat and traces of nutty chocolate paper. It's somewhat averagely carbonated and the mouthfeel is thin oily. Dry-bitter nutty flavors. I get some dark caramel and some herbal nuances. I'm having a hard time really enjoying this, but it still manages to not be to bad tasting. Absolutely not something I will be hunting down again though. 15.02.2013

500ml Brown bottle: best before 28 Nov 2012, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 31 July 2012. Dark reddy/brown body with an off-white head of deep bubbles. Malts in the nose; roasted and toasted, not a lot else my senses could detect. The taste was also malty but with a bitterness never far away. Very dry aftertaste be it from the hops or the thistle content? Nothing wrong with it, but it doesn’t set my world alight and I’ll not be seeking out another.

Bottle from M&S Bratislava. dark copper color with huge, long lasting, white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, plums, apples, ginger. Fruity taste with ginger, bitter hops, hints of chocolate, liquorice. Long bitter finish. I paired it with cake and this combination was quite good.

Bottle. Herbal, grass nose, ginger, spices and light malt. Copper-brown color with lace. Flavor of nettles, ginger, caramel, ginger. Dry and a bit dusty, with a somewhat vegetal bitterness at the end. Nice dry finish, though. Interesting, rather strange, but good enough.

Bottle. Very strong ginger and toffee malt aroma. Clear chestnut color with large head. Slightly sweet ginger and light toffee malt flavor. Medium body. Nice enough - pretty much an even mix between a ginger beer and a regular bitter.
