Hazy pale to medium amber colour, good two finger creamy off-white head, irregular half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malts, grapefruit, lemon, yeast, grass. Taste medium sweet and amber, malty, fruity. Lingering bittersweet aftertaste, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, well-balanced and delicate, very nice.
12 oz bottle from De Bierkoning @ home (bottled 1 Feb. 2013). Clear amber color. Off white head with short retention. Aroma upon opening the bottle: resinous & cirussy, but only shortly so. In the glass there’s earthy hops, some roast/toast and a hint of tropical fruit. Retronasal there’s sweet fruit, earthy hops, herbal. Flavor is (strangely enough) rather sweet but with a decent bitterness for balance. Body is medium. Finish is long and rather bitter. Interesting interpretation of the style, but actually quite nice.

Pours gold/orange with white head. Aroma / taste, bitter hops with floral / pine notes. Some faint notes of malts. Got this one from a Tyranena mixed 12, a really good IPA, although not my fav style.
