0.375 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', assemblage n° 66, seizoen 17/18, bottled in June 2018, 6.9% abv. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sourish-fruity, gently funky aroma of lemon, rhubarb, horse blanket, oak and maybe faint hints of honey. Quite sour, dry, rather fruity and gently funky taste of lemon, rhubarb, oak, horse blanket and traces of leather, followed by medium long, fairly tart, woody-dry and gently funky finish. Almost medium-bodied, quite astringent, spritzy and rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. A decent Gueuze but not nearly as sophisticated and complex as the bottle of A&G I've had three years ago.
Lovely spritzy funkiness. Only light honey sweetness. Good stuff
