Bottled (bought@GBBF2010. Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is spices, toffee, some mild grassyness and caramel malts. Flavour is quite similar in a quite sweet toffeeish way. Not that close to a traditional Belgian Tripel.
Bottle 330ml.[ Courtesy of Alex420 ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, grass, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090306]
Bottle at home .. from my GBBF 09 haul ... amber ... big white bubbly head .... light spiced hop ... bitter fruits ... light yeast .... little orange ... blah
Huge, slightly dirty head over clear copper-golden beer. Rather sharp, malty nose, bit milky, finally going over in dry, nearly USA-typed hops. Steamed corn warming up. Very bitter, both hops and earthy/leafy flavour, intense. Faint smoked touch, nice. Medium bodied, bit slick, very dry finish & MF. Whomever or wherever brews this/is this brewed, the beer deserves extra points for originality. Great!
