Glass shared by someone at Himmeriget. Pours pitch oily black with a small shortlasting brown head. Both the aroma and taste are super sweet, fudgey, maple, vanilla, chocolate, subtle booze. I still prefer the regular BA biscotti of all the variants, I must say.
I'd been wanting to try this for some time now, and here it is! All I expected. Sweet, sticky pastry base. Heavy on the bourbon, soft, lightly woody, sweet. And maple too! More sweet. Tiny bit of coffee bitter from the base pulls it almost right.
Bottle shared at Kingsday Tasting 2019. Opaque black color, decent sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, maple, sweetish, somewhat sugary, slightly brown malts. Quite good. 8-3-8-4-15.
Benzai’s Biertuin Dark chocolate, bourbon, maple, soft, sweet, coconut, a bit too cold perhaps, fizzy carbo, thick, roasted, nice
