750ml bottle shared with friends. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big Belgian bretty yeast, some light malt and alcohol. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth yeasty light vinous, big alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Bottle, 10C. Gold with a white head. Aroma of honeyed hay, sugary dough, cloves white pepper, and behind that it’s a little horsey and peachy. Light bodied for 10%, slightly creamy. Hay, oranges, peaches and vanilla. A breath of alcohol at the end. But after a little while the finish worked a little better for me with the booze and the lean towards dry leaving gently spicy, slightly funky peach and toasted oak. Perhaps opened this one a little early.
