Cask at the Anchor Birmingham. Poured a deep mahogany with a big frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth liqourice bitter, smoky roast, light chocolate palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A very drinkable stout but given the pump clip I was expecting a little more chocolate!
