Arnaud renovated an old barn and installed brewing tanks: the brand and the workshop were born! He immediately associated with a friend they met in Paris and they decide to embark on the adventure together by making artisanal French beers in the Sens region, in the countryside and with the barley grown by his parents.
It is in this natural break that we find the Popihn brewery workshop, with the very latest brewing equipment. They readily admit to being influenced and inspired by the breweries of the United States and England.
Very aromatic although a little bitter IPAs which give pride of place to exotic fruits (lemon, guava, mango, grapefruit!) And sour drinks that are not very developed in France! This is their hallmark: originality and innovation, but each time with the highest quality! Their daring paid off: they are now key players in these “niche” markets!

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Near black, mid sized head. Aroma of black currant, licorice and coffee. Dryish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with licorice, black currant and grapefruit. Low bitterness.

0,75l bottle at home. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells fruity, berry notes, passion fruit. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes passion fruit, citric, earthy, bit peppery, some currant notes. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of passion fruit, cassis and peppery notes. nice one, a tad on the sour side. good overall

44cl can from Mille et Une Bieres Bordeaux. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is blonde, light hazy. Nice hoppy aroma with citrus, tropical fruits, pineapple, passion fruits, hay. Taste is medium malty base, citrus, floral, pineapple, yellow tropical fruits, hay, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, refreshing.

Sample (as Popihn BLACK NEIPA DDH - Cryo Pop M / Mosaic / Talus, thanks fonefan). Slightly hazy brown colour, small white. Aroma is floral, fruity and some mild roasted tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some roasted, mild chocolaty tones. More CDA than any kind of NEIPA, even though it's dark...
