Bottle. Hazy amber with creamy head. Indeed lots of oak, Nevel yeast, stone fruit, a touch of roasted malts, caramel, gooseberries. Quite creamy, just medium sour. Really nice!
Bottle. Slight hazy deep golden to amber. Bitter leaves, fig leaves, red grapes, oak, vanilla, grassy. Medium sweet and sour but also quite bitter. Full bodied. Interesting.
Bottle. Hazy golden, slight gusher. Dry apple, soft pear, Nevel yeast, orange 🌸om, vanilla, white grapes. Under medium sweet and sour. Over medium bodied. Good.
Bottle. Quite hazy yellow golden, looks like a NEIPA 😂 Tons of quince, Nevel yeast, yoghurt, light herbal with licorice and cress. Just medium sweet and sour, lighter bitter. Good stuff!
Bottle at home, golden orange beer, small head. Aroma is funky, tart, nevel yeast, fruit, citrus, cinnamon. Taste is the same, cinnamon, citrus, pear, fruit, spices. Quite a long tart yeasty aftertaste, nice.
Bottle. Bit hazy dark k brown with creamy beige head. Lots of fruity plums, soft caramel and roasted malts, light Nevel yeast. There's some lavender as well, with vanilla and dried red berries. Just medium sweet and sour. It smells very fruity and like vanilla, but the taste is more soft roasted malts, bread crust, rye and some caramel. Interesting and very nice.
Bottle. Dark brown. Roasted malts, blackberries, plums, a touch of spruce. There's some oak, and I get the toasted wood, but the spruce and pine are very subtle, and it's not as herbal as the tasting notes mention. There's some lovely Nevel funk though. Medium sour. Love it.
Small to medium cream head, reasonably stable over opaque amber-brown beer. Earthy, lactic acid, oak galls, ink, dark malts, fleeting hint of smoke. Bitterish-sour, earthy & woody. Again lactic acid; cacao powder. Light body, bit slick, well carbonated. Nice! I would have expected more impact from the chestnuts, but pleasing all the same.
Bottle. Bit hazy yellow golden. Oh yeah this is great, just like batch 4, I love it.
Bottle. Hazy golden. Lots of peach, sour apricot, typical Nevel funk, white wine. Over medium sour and medium sweet. Over medium bodied. Lovely.
