Shared third of a pint at the 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church on 28th September 2023. Tanned head on a brown body, Toasted/roasted maltiness in the nose and taste, with a semi-sweet feel within the flavours. This is brewed at Kirkstall with input from Fyne, not the other way round!

500ml. bottle. @The Lorne Bar, Oban (Scotland). 07/08/2023 [#6.694 Global - #228 Scotland - #8 Fyne Ales] Pours dark brown with a white head. Aroma: caramel, nuts and cocoa beans. Taste: cola, mild roasted malts and citrus. Bit hoppy mouthfeel. Next one please!

A: clear golden, small, foamy, white head.
A: biscuit, yeast, sugar, wort, overripe plum.
T: sweet plum, biscuit, orange peel, yeast.
F: faint grassy hops, some pine, bitter yeast.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Too yeasty and unrefined.
Bottled. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is pineapple, citrus, zest and slight spiciness. Flavou ris white wine, some toffee, spices, citrus and mild pineapple. Smooth.
Bottled. Pitch black colour, minor head. Aroma is dry fruits, chocolate, some mild alcohol and spices. Flavour isdry fruits, alcohol, some mild spices, chocolate, mild roasted and liquorice notes with some toffee as well. Big and bold, but yet quite easy to drink.
Draught. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is lemongrass, some mango, mild floral tones with lime too. Flavour is lime, lemon, some lemongrass, mango and mild wooden tartness to it.
Bottle as Christmas gift. Jet black with a f so Kim head. Aroma and taste are fruity dried raisin and fig. Roasted malty. Sweet. Medium body.
